Que Delicioso!

While I am anxiously awaiting the delivery of the Beige Couch, I thought we could play a game. It goes like this. You come up with an outragous and hilariously wacky dinner menu that you wouldn’t make in real life. For example:

Scrub Jay Torte with Oat Caper Salad

OR

Duck Ice over Coriander Buck-Eye Ball Mush

OR

Pond Scum Mousse with Coffee Ground Scented Polenta

OR

Dehydrated Wine Flakes Over Muscrat Paste

So it doesn’t have to sound appetizing or even make sense, but it does have to be written for a fancy menu at a fancy restaurant.

    Actually, I cheated a little on this one. It’s granny’s oppossum grits.

    Lamb lettuce confit redolent of black currents on a bed of beaver carpaccio with a bud light reduction sauce and sardine coulis.

    hilarious AND wacky? katie, you ask too much!!
    i’ll take a whack at it!
    the special today is a freshly regurgitated hairball pan seared and served between two gravel paste biscuits drizzled with hot finger gravy. the 1955 fermented milk wine will be perfect with this selection. and for dessert i recommend our homemade earthworm sorbet.
